Liaison Programme

The Liaison Programme has the task of fostering links with other projects working on related topics. The liaison role will have two main objectives.

The first is to bring to PASCAL the challenges and problems identified in related projects as of particular interest and potential for Machine Learning techniques. These could be fed directly to the Challenges Programme either in the form of challenge datasets or as theoretical challenges requiring novel modelling techniques before adaptive systems can tackle them in a principled manner. The second objective of the liaison programme is to provide a dissemination route for techniques and algorithms developed within PASCAL to ensure that where appropriate researchers in related projects are aware of the developments and their potential.
